HOW DID TERMOVENT PARTICIPATE IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX KNOWN AS SKYLINE BELGRADE?

The Skyline Belgrade commercial complex is located in one of the most significant areas of Belgrade, on Kneza Miloša Boulevard. We are incredibly honored that, as a business with a lengthy record of reference projects, we have been given the opportunity to contribute to the building of Skyline by creating and delivering air handling units.

The company AFI Europe Serbia has been active on the domestic market since 2005, and as a result of successfully completed projects like the first business park Airport City Belgrade, Business Garden, Skyline AFI Tower, and the currently under construction AFI City Zmaj, the company has earned a reputation for excellence, accountability, and commitment. The company AFI Europe Serbia was named the Investor of the Year by CRE Europe in 2022 as a result of its successful investment and development strategy for all Belgrade projects, particularly for the Skyline AFI Home project, which won the category for “Future Project of the Year” due to the innovative nature of this newly released good.

We are happy that in November 2021, Termovent relocated to the offices of this property.

During the Skyline construction project, Termovent produced and delivered eight Standard:pro type air handling units with a cumulative air flow of 176,000 m3/h.

We enquired more about this project from Nikola Perić, a sales engineer in the Air Treatment division.

It is a great honor for me to have been a part of such a significant project, and for our business to have been given the responsibility of producing and delivering air handling units. I’ll go into more depth about our involvement in the project below. Because it best met the project requirement, all air handling units that were delivered are of the same type. The Skyline complex’s office buildings provide suitable ventilation and air conditioning thanks to the usage of air handling units.

The tower’s top level, where the technical floor is located, received 4 of the 8 air handling units that were delivered; the lower floor received the other 4. The entire facility is covered in this manner.

Our typical solution is contained in each item. They have a rotating regenerator that is quite effective, and they only use fresh air to operate. A heater and a cooler are also included in air handling units to account for heat gains and losses.

The project’s specifications included the delivery of air handling unit’s equipment to the structure. Because of their size, rotary regenerators are supplied in pieces and put together on location by our skilled fitters. Each of the 8 AHUs is massive in size and has a flow rate of more than 20,000 m3/h. They were all around 6 metres long, 2.5 metres broad, and 3 metres tall.

The delivered air handling units have great energy efficiency, with 6 having energy efficiency A+ and 2 having energy efficiency A.
