At the end of an extremely challenging year, and for the ninth time in a row, the Serbian Association of Managers will award annual prizes to the best in the business world, under the slogan RESPONSIBLE LEADERSHIP in all spheres of life.

It is a great honor and pleasure for us that the company Termovent is among the finalists in the category “Employer of the Year 2020“. We believe that this is the result of all our efforts to make Termovent regional leaders and a place that brings together the best!

During 2020, faced with a global pandemic, Termovent organized an internal “crisis board” at the very beginning, where a set of necessary measures was adopted, all with the goal of keeping our employees healthy and the company going in the direction it planned. During the first month of the state of emergency in the Republic of Serbia, the company changed its focus and put the main priority on cooperation in creating new Covid laboratories. During the first 6 months of the pandemic, Termovent and its partners participated in the creation of the Covid laboratory “Fire Eye” in Belgrade, the plant for the production of Covid vaccines in Belgium, as well as the largest Covid laboratory in Europe (Poonawalla science park), which is directly supported by the World Health Organizations and the Ministry of Health of the Netherlands. All these projects are feasible with maximum protection measures where one part of the company’s employees worked from their homes, and their fellow engineers and installers are constantly on projects in 5 different countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Russia and Georgia). These projects are a confirmation of the good reputation of Termovent that it enjoys at home and abroad.

Good business decisions have given us the opportunity to significantly expand our team so that this year the number of employees in Termovent increased by 22%.

The year 2020 will be remembered for the great cooperation with the Science Technology Park in Belgrade, where our colleagues from the R&D sector will work, and where the Termovent Academy was opened. Termovent Academy is a new program of our company that was launched this year, and which is intended primarily for our employees, but also for the wider community and young people as part of our efforts to reduce brain drain from Serbia.
