TERMOVENT AIR HANDLING UNITS AT THE NEW STADIUM OF FC TSC IN BAČKA TOPOLA, SERBIA

Thanks to its many years of experience, Termovent is reliable partner in projects of various types, from industrial plants, commercial application facilities, sports halls, and many others. Last year, we had the opportunity to participate in the project of the new stadium of the football club TSC from Bačka Topola, Serbia.

New stadium, which amongst the most modern ones in Serbia, has a capacity of 4.500 attendants, and is located within the TSC Club Football Academy. The planning and construction of the stadium took into account energy efficiency. There are heat pumps and solar panels to reduce the consumption of external electricity, and designers considered the environment and conditions for sustainable development throughout the project.

We are pleased that Termovent has been trusted to participate in this project through the production and delivery of air handling units.

We asked Igor Madžić, Technical Support Manager of Air Treatment Division in our company, to tell us a bit more about our participation in this project.

Termovent’s scope of work was delivery of air handling units for the following areas withing the building (complex) of TSC Stadium, Bačka Topola:

1. Hydra Basic GOLD pool air handling unit for pool area
2. Standard air handling unit Standard:pro for kitchen space
3. Standard air handling unit Standard:pro for restaurant
4. Standard air handling unit Standard:pro for conference room with hall

For Standard:pro systems, it was only a matter of delivering air handling units, without additional work.

For the Hydra Basic GOLD system, it was the delivery of an air handling unit complete with peripheral elements of automation and electrical cabinet to control the entire pool air handling system.

Standard:pro systems are units for air treatment of rooms defined by the project solution. These are Termovent’s Standard systems that are designed according to the purpose of the premises and designed equipment in them enables the achievement and maintenance of desired parameters of the premises throughout the year.

The HYDRA Basic GOLD system is highly efficient device intended for rooms such as swimming pools. The goal of such a system (unit) is to achieve and maintain comfortable conditions in the pool area and thus primarily enables good health and mood of people. On the other hand (not less important), it dehumidifies the space (due to evaporation of pool water) and thus protects the construction of the space (walls, glass surfaces…) from decay.

The main element of this system is highly efficient recuperator with ,,bypass” blinds that allows us to recover over 90% of the return hear from space during most of the year. Thus, not burdening the water heater and thus reducing energy consumption in operation. This system is so-called ,,plug & play”, which together with automation and an electrical cabinet allows the automatic regulation of the device according to many factors (external conditions, internal parameters…) and thus chooses the most optimal mode. This creates benefits for the user in terms of comfort and operating costs.

Client requirements, as usual they are, were based on the project solution. The project solution was to provide comfort according to world standards. Our response and proposal was based on primarily offering the client the most efficient and optimal exploitation solution at the same time. It is a matter of comfortable air treatment, and our systems fully satisfied the project solution.

The air handlings units we delivered had some specifics.
With the Standard:pro system, these are units that are made as a ,,custom” solution according to the wishes of the designer and client. In general, these are adaptable systems according to many limiting factors (price, size of a technical room…)

With the HYDRA Basic GOLD system, it was a Termovent standard solution, which we offer to the client at our suggestion. In order to primarily correspond to the project solution and provide comfortable air treatment, but at the same time to enable much lower consumption and operating conditions. This aspect is often overlooked, and perhaps, it is the most important.
